As we all know, Kickstarter is a good way for indie developers to get their games out into the world. Unfortunately not everyone is blessed with tremendous savings, rich uncles, trust funds or even publishers. Here are a few current Kickstarters that have my attention.

First up is Swordcery, a game being made by 2 former God of War cinematic animators. This is a game I’ve had my eyes on for a while now. If you follow me on Twitter then you’ve probably seen my retweeting their gifs all the time. You can follow updates on the game on Twitter at @templedoorgames

Here’s a trailer for you:

I was never much of a fan of roguelikes until a few years ago but Swordcery is another that has caught my attention recently.

A demo is available on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1764050/Swordcery_Prologue/

The second game on my list is Chains of Fury from @GamingFactorySA. Self described as a Metroidvania Boomer Shooter with lots of blood and gore, and it shows. One thing that made the game stand out to me is the look, a comic book look added to all the blood and gore.

Here’s the trailer:

Want to try it out? There’s a demo on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1121320/Chains_of_Fury/

Third on my list is Ninja Issen, a cyberpunk ninja game. Full of fast action, robots, neon lights and of course, ninjas. You can follow the game account on Twitter at @ninjaissen. If you prefer following the developer’s account vs game account, you can find him at @ASTEROID__J.

This is the announce trailer for the game:

It looks like he’s has a ways to go to get funded and may need some signal boosting. If you like ninjas and bangin music then check it out and maybe throw a few retweets his way.

Demo is available on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1714550/Ninja_Issen/

These are 3 games that caught my attention, hopefully they caught yours too.

Until next time.
